It isn’t every day you come across a complete engine pod from a Consolidated B-24 Liberator Bomber!

Just another day for Dan and Kev who couldn’t resist acquiring this large piece of a wartime bomber for the collection. Although the exact serial number of the aircraft is not known the engine nacelle was recently discovered in a scrap yard in Australia.

The B-24 served with distinction in the RAAF in the Pacific Theatre of Operations during World War Two. The engine cowling is a unique time capsule and still has the oil streaks from her last flight!
