For the last 4 years part of the Wings Restoration team have been busy working on a mock-up De-Havilland Mosquito fuselage, as part of a complicated trade with a private collector.

We constructed the inboard wing sections, cockpit, fuselage and tail fin. Not an easy task and I am sure you will agree from the photos of the finished article that our amazing volunteers did us proud.

The delivery took place last March but now the owner has put the mock-up Mossie in the public domain so we can finally go public!

When brothers Dan and Kev delivered the fuselage to its new home in Peterborough they had to assemble the different sections of the mock-up, something that had not been done previously due to space limitations. She went together beautifully and the finished job really did look amazing. The mock-up Mossie is now up for sale and we do hope she finds a good home soon!
Will we be making another? Never say never but right now we have plenty to crack on with!
