We are very pleased to report that we have some more Rolls Royce Merlin engine run dates planned for this year, as well as the return of “Dad Day” (D-Day) event on 16th June! This proved very popular last Fathers Day and it is planned to repeat this event again this year.
For those that do not know what “Dad Day” is, it is a unique opportunity for dads to sit in the cockpit of our original wartime Douglas C-47 Dakota / Skytrain. Our C-47 is also somewhat famous, having been used in the original TV series Band of Brothers, as well as a Bond Film and even a Zombie film!
Not only can dads sit in the C-47 but they also get the unique chance to sit in our WW2 DUKW (or DUCK) Amphibious Vehicle. At 31 feet long she is huge! So please make a date and bring your dad or why not treat yourself? The event takes place on the 16th June 2025. More details can be found on our website.
The Merlin engine runs will be held on 12th April and 7th June 2025, we hope to see you then.
